It was great to work with Beijing staple punk outfit Hangnail (倒刺）while mixing their track Psychobilly （坏比利）. I first met their lead singer Tim (和天明）in the depths of the Xiao rehearsal studios which are buried deep underground in a sub-basement near Dongzhimen Station in Beijing. Pretty soon after that the whole band was coming up to my pad with motorcycles and beers to boot as they sat in on the mixing sessions and we dialed in their signature sound.
